Senior Security Researcher
You will be a part of our Research Lab, fighting off cybercriminals from our customers' web applications and help clean up the internet from malicious bots and automated web application attacks.
About this position
What will you do?
- Threat management - Be an expert in the security threats our customers face and the mitigation needed for each case.
- Actively lead in-depth cybersecurity research - define the necessary research questions, research the data, and validate the possible effects on customers’ web applications.
- You will keep our detection algorithms advanced, state-of-the-art, and accurate.
- Research and map new web application attacks and trends.
- Lead dedicated research for our VIP customers, optimize the system and develop additional unique detection algorithms.
What do you need?
- Extensive understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and web applications attacks (OWASP Top 10).
- Knowledge of web architecture and protocols (CDN, HTML, DOM, JavaScript, HTTP, TLS, IPv4/v6, etc.)
- Hands-on experience (5+ years) with data analysis of large and complex data sets (data manipulation, statistical analysis, Conclusions, etc.)
- Experience with SQL (experience with BQ - Advantage)
- Experience with Python (specifically in data analysis) - Pandas, NumPy
- Cybersecurity threats understanding and research experience
- Self-motivated and independent
